The Honda Stream is based on the FD series Civic, and is more like a larger Civic hatch with 7-seats. The Stream also has much better suspension that makes it more comfortable as well as a better handler than the FD Civic. The Stream features a better auto gearbox that provides snappier responses, making it perform better than the 1.8liter FD civic. The stream was so successful in Japan, that FD Civic sales were stopped since most buyers preferred the Stream than the Civic.
